Damn, that's a cool tool!! While it does nothing new (I think of Glitchmachine and co), its GUI allows a way of editing that is just genius! In fact I feel totally stupid, because I still haven't fully understood the very first part (moving bits and pieces around). Why this works with just a curve?

Not only is this tool so user friendly, it is also reasonably priced! Wow. I'm really amazed, and for the first time ever fall to the consuming trap: I just need to have it!

I never had that feeling before, not for Serum, not for Diversion, not for any synth or effect yet. One could say I just lost my virginity - with cableguys.

  2. All the plug-ins are fantastic. Even Pancake which is just a panning tool makes if easy to create movement that doesn't sound predictable. I tend to use it for shakers (I love shakers and have a bunch of different kinds, some I made myself with found objects like pieces of wood from the forest, or even a box of basmati rice. If you don't see me in the supermarket you can hear me shaking stuff as I move along the aisles. Who knows what they make me out as, that guy who makes the noise, LOL) or high toned hand drums.

Yep it's a great bundle, all the plugs are cool, so I bought it...:facepalm:Those devs are costing me more and more, I wish it came out before black friday.
It's really nice though, shaperbox is like cheating you get instantanious great sounding fxs with several presets, and there are an incredible number of presets available. I had to let bidule and my computer go online to sync the presets of all the plugs and get the ones done by other users and devs and it's very cool.
I didn't know either Curve 2 nor FilterShaper 3 and those are also great, well specialy the latest, I only browsed the presets of Curve 2 and they sound nice, there are a lot of them once synced, I'm going to have to learn to use yet another synth though, and it doesn't seem like there is a real manual, just online tutorial, I guess it will have to do.

Frankly I don't think I need any more plugs. I have a few left to go legit with, but other than that, I'm good...:)

TimeShaper is a cool way to glitch, no doubt.

I still prefer FilterShaper 2 to 3 though.

@Pinkman I never tried filtershaper 2...Were the filters modeled differently ? What do you prefer in Filtershaper 2 ?

The filters in 3 are different. Sallen-Key filters are warmer and that's a plus for 3.
My main gripe is the way 3 handles modulations outside of a mod-matrix.

I get it, it used to be settled as it still is in MidiShapper, for the modulation part. That's actually the part that lost me first, and the need to click on the thing you want to tweak in its modulation so that the modulation appĂȘars in FS3 isn't probably the best way to go. The mod matrix that still is in midishapper is indeed better.

i asked them in 2013 about something like that, they said so far no plans, guess it took them a while to code it.

Yes, it looks like they have the multiband feature in all the updates now. Cool stuff!
So now you can make volumeshape freq specific when youre using it for sidechain ducking

  10. I pulled up Curve 2, unrared and installed an old version to pique my memory. I didn't dig it for a bunch of reasons, but because of that decided NOT to spring for the bundle. I have some guitars that need some work and would rather put good money towards my instruments.
