The dynamic of this test is as following:

Listen to the SRC audio stem.
Listen to the EQ audio stems a-h in any order.
vote (MAX 3) the ones you like the most.

++Additionaly you can create a list in the comments with the eq names in the order you think they are(try not to bleed your ear, some are very close)

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

The participants are(in no particular order):

    DMG Equilibrium (Fir linear, 8192,x1,Kaiser,0.5)
    TDR Nova GE (Insane mode)
    DDMF LP10
    MAAT theQOrange

    +++++

    Fabfilter ProQ3 (linear, maximum)
    lkjb qrange
    Crave EQ
    Eiosis Air EQ
    ---------------------------------------------------------------

    So, what's the catch?
    New great Eq's added
The stems are phase aligned so they can be nulled, to objectively listen the differences between them in your own environment.
The project will be released at the end of the test, for transparency, your own testing and suggestions.

    Enjoy!!!

Now that's an interesting idea. [IMG]
Although I would've preferred an example with a bass and maybe some more acoustic instruments? :winker:

Ok, seriously, I dragged them into my DAW and found out some pretty interesting things.

There're two pairs with identical sounding EQs, b-g and d-f and I'm very interested in which EQs these are.

When you peak-align them, the RMS differs by incredible 3,6dB with b-g being the loudest, followed by a, c, d-f, h and g being the lowest.
Therefore a real comparison can't be done, because if you align the RMS, the result is a completely different one.

A very intersting lesson I've learned.

Yeah, there's important restrictions with zippyshare in several countries, if someone is kind enough to post a mirror would be nice.

Yes I am planning a test with a nice acoustic track with a decent dynamic range already

Yes you are right, and I was perplexed to find that and what eqs they are.
I will release the ableton later.

Since in Germany and other countries zippy could be blocked, I added rockfile link

Hey, I put it in a spoiler so no one has to read it before he/she makes the test him/herself and now you're quoting it in public.
