Wasn't sure where to post this. But in sales everyone's selling softies "bump this and that", so i decided to put it in comp hardware.
So, i have access to some older nvme Intel ssds, DC P4610 @ 7.68tb. They are nvme gen3 U.2 drives, so sticking one of them in your desktop pc, will require an m.2 to u.2 adapter and a mini sas SFF8643 to SFF8643 cable. Some m.2 to u.2 adapters come with the cable built in. These drives are nothing particularly fancy in performance, not too shabby either (max 3200mb/s read/write), where they do excel is reliability, rated at 3 full drive writes per day for 5 years.
Important #1 : These are sealed, brand new drives with 0 hrs of operation. No receipt or warranty avail, but you can register at Solidigm (ex-Intel ssd dept) with the drive's serial i guess.
Important #2 : Check for yourselves, Ebay sellers sell the 3.84tb equivalent drives for about 450-500 dlrs minimum. I sell the 7.68tb drives for 300 euros. PS: These won't stay avail for long as the price is crazy realistically speaking. I won't be putting these in Ebay, but i have a couple of other specific in my country sites where they are listed too.
