eLicenser error started in Cubase 12

    So, past couple of days I've started getting this popup error in Cubase Pro 12. It seems to pop up when I scan for new plugins as I'm currently reinstalling everything, so am rescanning as I install stuff.

    Anyone know what's causing it and/or how to fix it?

    probably your system deleted the file, could be antivirus. The file is located at Windows\System32 and Windows\SysWOW64

    Run SilkEmuTest.exe file at C:\Program Files\TEAM R2R\Steinberg Silk Emulator\ to check whether the emu is running okay on your system.

    I think reinstalling the R2R emulator could fix it.

    Hello,
    It's related to Kawa e-licenser R2R, do you used it before with plugins? Reinstall it and add kawaelic.dll to your antivirus whitelist.

    I found r2R Kawa 1.0.2 on sister site, reinstalled and excluded the .dll from Windows Security and seems to be fine again now.

    I have the same issue, but this solution doesn't help me. Any other solution?

    its why i never install steinburg products that are cracked, too much to mess up your system
