Empirical Labs Inc. (ELI) has released ParaDyn, a four-section parametric equalizer plugin designed to integrate dynamic control and multiband processing into a single tool.
Available for Windows and macOS in VST3, AU, and AAX formats, the plugin stands out for its configurable dynamic modules in sections 1 and 4, enabling modes such as dynamic equalization, frequency masking, and full-bandwidth compression.
The interface is based on the design of the previous BIG FrEQ plugin, maintaining the brand's signature precision and flat bandforms, but adding the flexibility to function as a modular channel strip. The plugin features iLok protection and offers a 15-day trial.
