I've been looking for the sounds of the electric guitar fx such as pick scrape, pinch harmonics, chicken picking, feedback, dive bombs and etc as the virtual instruments' sound not real for fx.
But I noticed that it's not easy to find them. Any ideas? Paid ones or free ones.

I've not had the chance to try this, I play guitar so haven't had the need for anything virtual yet

 

Haven't tested it, but the only one which comes to my mind is

Assuming you want only the effects, not a whole VSTi/Kontakt lib

if you don't play maybe renting/borrowing a guitar for one day and especially record those things? or if you in a small town or something you maybe just can hang out at the music store one day and record your own kontakt lib? or a short visit to a band room with a field recorder or something?

i have a fender here and digital effect units, but no guitar amp, but some noises and scratches etc i really should be able to do that but it would take time... for me this seems a fun thing to do w recording, and kontakt stuff, or make omni presets afterwards... ah man you get me inspired

 

My pleasure, man. I have a Les Paul, but can't play. First off, if I make a big noise, my neighbor will complain. Second, I'm not good at it. I'm waiting for moving house, and then I can play.

 

I've seen some of my friends use it, they are good.
