    Here are my two cents to this discussion ...

    Do you really needed that to know that this was really happening ?!. "Watching behind the courtains" has been there probably since human beings put their feet on the earth to stand up. The only difference now is that there exist so powerfull means to do that nowadays, that at the present there's no need at all to be "behind the courtain" to watch what you're doing never more. Anyway, i would like to ask to you, all north-american people here, what do you thought he meant when president Bush started to talk about "New World Order" some years ago ?.

    Furthermore, now we've finally the so awaited Messiah. Now, what will we do besides having deep respect for him, and telling him: "be careful because from now on you'll have a gun aiming at your head" ?. As usual i still listen people talking about "others doing nothing", or "if now people don't stand up with that, what they need more ?". But to me those questions should not be put with regard to others but with regard to oneself alone (which BTW many of us doesn't want to do ... and that's the sole reason why we talk about others not doing what we should do too INDEPENDENTLY of what others do or not).

    BTW, how many of you, north-americans, know about Gary Webb [31.Ago.1955 – 10.Dec.2004] and "Dark Alliance" ?!. Then you'll probably know also that after his investigation in the 80's about who were really behind the "crack" business, he was mocked by everybody despite it was shown some years later that he spoke the truth. And you'll probably also know, that after that he was so depressed because everybody turning their back on him, that oficially (some think he was killed) he eventually shoot himself with his father's gun. Anyway it was not he who killed himself but all of us who killed him ... the same way we'll kill Edward Snowden too! ... If you don't believe me let time to pass and we'll see (hope i'm wrong)

    @Catalyst

    :rofl:

    Why do you think i'm using Textedit (like Windows Notepad in Mac) to write all my posts, making a simple copy/paste to the browser when finished ?!
    Flash is the worst shit a human being could have ever invented. I have had even full system hungs sometimes because that fucking shit.

    +10000^1000000000000000000! :snuffy: (not to talk also about "hungry" web browsers!)

    About Alex Jones (after watching the "famous" :bleh: video posted by Lisapower):
    Do you guys really think that this world needs showmen like him to solve the problems :wow: ?!
    I felt sad somehow for all the people there claping their hands at any word he pronounced! When do you guys will start thinking by yourselves ?!.

    I usually do that too but it's easier to flip to other tabs in a browser since I also moderate and need to be aware of what's going on. There is something seriously wrong with version 11. It sometimes crashes my computer to the point where I need to do a hard reboot, it crashes my sound card and a myriad assortment of other crap. Let me start off by saying that I can't tell you how much I hate Alex Jones and there is even a thread around here where I mention that he's an idiot. He's what you would call an irresponsible douchebag. He makes some really grandiose associations without having any information to back up his claims. It really sullies the image of folks that actually do their credible research and actually know what they're talking about. I liken him to a reverend at the pulpit speaking to his congregation. It seems to me to just be the other side of the coin if you know what I mean? I strive for some sort of balance, whether I'm always successful or not is another story. :rofl:

    And now for my response to your original question:
    What if people talk about others doing nothing because they're tired of having to do everything themselves? It's great that an individual would choose to get involved but our real strength lies in numbers so without the help of others we stand to be completely crushed by the military-industrial complex. I will continue what I've been doing: researching world events, informing people about what's going on, writing letters to my representatives, signing petitions, protesting and giving hope. I can go to bed at night knowing that I do the best I can to change things and not just by words but also backed up with actions. You're right people quickly forget and that is why I am not a personal fan of history since we never actually learn from it. Mark Twain once said "history doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme." That echoing rhyme throughout the ages has been the resistance of the masses to realize that they have the real power and take control of their own destinies. After all human beings as a whole are incapable of finding meaning in life other than happiness. In the movie Se7en there is this great quote: "Wanting people to listen, you can't just tap them on the shoulder anymore. You have to hit them with a sledgehammer, and then you'll notice you've got their strict attention." The bottom line is that people will listen one way or another because when things get even worse they will have to live with the choices they've made or in this case the choices they haven't made. Every thing you choose to do and everything you choose not to do creates a possible timeline so one day you will be responsible for the outcomes of those choices. I can't say that things will certainly change with the disclosure of this information but I refuse to live in a world without hope.

    Breaking news, here's an update on the situation:
    1) Contractor Who Leaked NSA Files Drops Out Of Sight, Faces Legal Battle
    2) US Snoop Leak: Ripples Widen

    I can't imagine what must be running through his head at the moment. I think he's afraid that Hong Kong might honor their extradition treaty with the United States that was put into place I believe in the 90s. I'll update you guys as soon as I find out more information.
