I downloaded EastWest PLAY 6 2 days ago, it worked until yesterday when I tried to load it in FL 20, where it says it had an error loading it in, and to try and make sure its installed correctly. I've tried reinstalling it, trying different websites, loading it in standalone & in different FL versions, same issue. What do I do to fix this? I saw a thread before that had this same issue and it doesn't seem like that got solved. Any help is appreciated!

 

What's the exact error? In the notes it states you must install one library first. Failure to do so ends up in a failure to scan the plugin.

 

Had the same in Cubase, also yesterday. Maybe a time issue? I found somebody saying that he reinstalled the library again (as sonny monnlight says), so I first only dragged the preview and smaller files again to my HD in the same folder.... that worked. Try that. Or if you install through their client, reinstall a library.

 

R2R qoute:

Hopefully someone sees this .. I get a error when scanning the plugin .. I know people have mentioned you need to have atleast 1 library installed but maybe I downloaded the wrong library because all I saw was folders inside the one I DL'd.. I am coming from windows 10 and it's the same machine just a formatted HD and a clean install and I'm just getting all my plugins back.. I am using a legit version of FL studio 24 now.. I thought maybe that had something to do with it.

 

May be, missing dependencies? I mean Visual Studio C++ redistributables.

 

Didn't even think of that.. i have no clue what those even are other then we need them for some software to work.. but you wouldn't happen to have a link by chance?

 

ya i don't think thats it .. i went and tried to DL it from microsoft but it says i already have a version installed.. i'm wondering if it runs off a older version? and if so which one? the one i got goes back to 2022

 

Checked PLAY6 in my FL 20.8.4 and it works fine. Are you sure you tried in different FL 20.x.x versions? With Different cr*ckerz?

 

Positive.. I'm on windows 11 .. fl studio 24... and I got play from sister site r2r v6 .. I'm just as perplexed as you.. when I scan the plugins both vst3 and vst2 have error on the finished scan .
