e-zine for audioz

    hello folks,

    what do you think about an e-zine "audioz mag" ??
    who wants to help me.
    we would release it on audioz.info
    audioz mag will contains test about plugins, interviews, music reports and szene infos.

    great. i´m want to start that project. we need an designer for a logo.

    @saint: can we use that name? "audioz mag"

    Nice idea, but I don't know if the logo design is the first thing to do. ;)

    ok. i had think that many autors can write an report and send it me and i will merge all that.
    i have no idea how to manage a project like that. i hope we think more members here who work on that idea.

    so whats to do first. with website/databases i have not so many knownlegde.
    who can help?
    what´s the first steps for that project.

    the only thing i don't understand about this, is why it has to be a magazine? :unsure:

    the idea is great, but why choosing the old-fashioned format of serving content to people (magazine)... this whole thing would go much better as a blog, with it's own journalists;
    we could even sell the subscriptions, so our journalists would receive some payment for their time/work.

    Saint, not a better seasoned boss around!
    Those two examples is what I had in mind,
    I think it could be cool a mag-blog, to post reviews tuts and tips, etc. with a level of interactivity and visual!
    I'd like to participate because I want to gain some experience trying wordpress, joomla or alike.
    I have some programming and graphics bg but all has been very static.
    Also participate in projects it's good because pushes you to take crash-courses about many interesting things!

    @saint: ok you are right :) you know it better. i can write articles.
    i want do it for the audioz community to get more infos about releases, szene and music that is done witha audioz. tuts are great idea too.
    so i agree with you advice.
    whats to do next?

    2. build a more specific image of what it is we're doing and how it all should be done

    I'll do some reseach on blogging capabilities of wordpress, I might take a look to other cms(any preferences on this matter?)

    no need for that. After years of disappointment from trying different CMS, I'll stick with WordPress for long time.

    i mean, AudioZ is so special because we're all building it together. before i do some changes, i always put a poll asking what members want;
    same goes here - we all should put our ideas in it.

    I'll start to develop some graphics (vectors or so),
    I thought about a red bg and giant speakers and ppl or aliens dancing.
    I have some free time.
    If the outcome is horrible I'm not showing it :bleh:

    some news for you: i've just came up with a name for this project: Audiozine :dancing:
    and the domain name: www.Audioz.in

    i think it's awesome. even though there is one site with the similar name from South Africa, there are no magazines.

    naah, current AudioZ logo sucks hard. i haven't worked in design for a long time, and that was my first job after a while.
    I've made i huge progress and the next version will be legendary. ;)

    but from now on, let's discuss things somewhere else... there are too many thefts in this world :(

    the more ideas we have, the better.

    exactly what i had in mind!!!

    as i said before, this won't be built on altruism only. in perspective, journalists will have articles for sale, so you could actually make some money for yourself.

    this project has a great future, so if you feel like you can make a good addition, let us know.
