Having some trouble with the install of Xtreme Lead-1 for Emulator x3. I’m able to convert the bin/cue to an ISO. But the ISO is much smaller than the bin/cue size. ISO is 33MB compared to 756MB for the Bin/cue before conversion.

Installation splash screen and install finishes with no error messages, but the sample pool files are not installed. Anyone with knowledge how I can convert the bin/cue to a proper functioning installation ISO would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!!

Appreciate the share. I found this as a zip too on Archive.org. Its odd the presets all have prefixes on them & the first preset "Robo Trace" is missing. I'm wondering if there's a way I can install the faulty presets from my failed bin/cue & somehow use the sample pool from the file you shared with me... Thank you again for your help.

Those has been modified and insert category prefix to preset name.

Why don't you mount .cue file directly (maybe use WinCDEmu) ?
Maybe something lose when convert to iso but yes after install it should be size around 30mb.

Hi, this one is the original from E-MU, it contains the names without the category and also the Robo Trace preset.

I tried WinCDEmu first, then tried actually converting to ISO. Both ways installed without errors.... Theres only one EBL file in the samplepool folder when I install via WIncdEmu. It checks out to be about the correct size 30MB. But Emulator X3 always has an error saying it cant find the sample. The version provided by @m5g works, but I'd like to get the 20 extra presets in the bank I have... Just a big giant headache.

Still getting the same error. I greatly appreciate you sharing those files... I need to figure why I'm getting this error. I believe the installation is no longer the problem, but actually something wrong with the X3 application.

you have to place the files into the proper location as it follows:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Creative Professional\E-MU Sound Central

    place here the library folder

    Xtreme Lead-1.exb

which contains the preset file and the samplepool

Well I'll be a S.O.B.... Now I feel like a turd. Everything works now.

So.. When I used the installer, I changed the install location. But I guess it needs to be in the default location the installer wants to put it... Thank you @alexbart, @m5g & @gzilla helping through this brain fart.

PS/ If anyone knows where to find more exb banks besides Archive.org or the sister site please feel free to let me know. Have a good one fellas!!

    At http://zine.r-massive.com/e-mu-emulator-x3-library/
many Emulator X3 libraries and on the same site you can find also other EMU format banks (Emax, Emu hardware, EMU I\II, etc) convertable in EmuX3. You needs a password you can obtains with free registration for an account\login.
    And obviously on sister site.
Good for conversion older x86 tools as an older warez release of Chycken System Translator, Extreme Sample Converter, CDXtract (better?), Awave Studio (perhaps), ....
