Just wondering if someone would be able to share some of E-MU libraries converted to Kontakt format?
Beside the Planet Phatt available on Audioz, I have been unable to find any library from E-MU: A pity because there was many gems such as the SP1200 back in the days.

    Thanks!
    Mr Psanter

    @ Mr Psanter,

As it seems, at a first glance, and if I'm not totally wrong (?) that you still don't know Programs such as :

    - CDXtract
    - Extreme Sample Converter
    - Chicken Systems Translator

You should have a look at one of them (the first two are the most easy for that task) to convert your own 'E-MU' Libraries, or eventually to convert all these 'E-MU' Libraries that you're looking for to the desired Format, in case that you can find them through Internet... *yes*

Just to mention : these Great Converters can do the task for many Formats, not only 'KONTAKT'... *yes*

By cons, it's true that some old 'E-MU' Libraries would not be an easy task to find via Internet nowadays, but you never know... *yes*
and in this case, 'Google' could be your best 'Buddy' !

    *** ADDED AFTERWARDS ***

The following 'Download Links' could perhaps be of interest for you about the 'E-MU SP-1200' *yes*

Some FREE 'WAV' Samples (by 'Goldbaby') done through an 'E-MU SP-1200' :
    Goldbaby2010XmasGift

FREE 'THX 1200 Samples Collection' :
    THX SP-1200 Samples Collection

and certainly even more valuable for you *yes* , the 'E-MU SP-1200' Factory Disks (containing plenty of the Factory 'WAV' Samples) :
    E-MU SP-1200 Factory Disks

As all these Sample Collections are provided in 'WAV' Format, simply Import, Map, and Process them the way you like (or need) into your 'Kontakt' Sampler Engine, then Save your creations as '.nki', '.nkm' ('Single Instrument' or 'Multis') ...and voila !

Thanks for your reply Studio 555 and also for the SP-1200 samples,

As a matter of fact I was aware of Chicken Translator and co, in fact my post wasn't completely correct: What I ment is in fact, that I was looking for E-MU libraries, the fact that they would already be converted in Kontakt format was an added bonus but I could do that by myself. The main point was to find these libraries which seems to be pretty hard today. That was in fact the object of my post. I'm sure that somewhere, somehow, someone has these precious libraries. :)
