E-books to Audiobooks converter?

    Has any of you convert ebooks to audiobook and what software have you used?
    I´m particularly looking something to run locally.. other opinions are also welcome

    I did try something month ago(can´t remember the name), but after 2 hours converting it crashed and I gave up

    Get someone to read the ebook to you. I recommend Margaret at No.27 but you have to remind her to bring the correct spectacles each time.:)

    Ain't happening, Margaret stopped the book reading gig 6 or so months back.

    She's all about the OF now, and, lemme tell you, it ain't pretty!

    ElevenLabs are fine to me but I didn't have experience for long texts. You can upload your audiobook too. I don't know about offline usage. These can also be tried:
    Play.ht
    Murf.ai
    Resemble.ai
