    The funniest thing in this lazer videos is probably deadmau5 and steve duda controling him through the whole video so things don't get out off hand! :winker:

    Honestly I find it hard to believe there is not even a little hint of the synth in that drum kick still.. I still think the whole msusic industry is a sham that's why I am making my own record label.

    Because
    1) the synth is SC/ducked and comes in later
    2) he uses multiband amplitude envelopes to cut out the synth.

    He is basically layering the three main ingrediences of a kick: sine, lowpassed saw, FM, whatever (pitch enveloped or not), middy "humph" (anything really) and transient (click, hat, slap, tack, key-rattle).
