I've ran across some music at rutracker, and what caught my eye is the process of restoring dynamics of an overly compressed music:

The processing was carried out in Adobe Audition with plugins Thimeo Stereo Tool, FabFilter Bundle; iZotope RX
Note: Restoration is not a panacea for low-quality recording. The purpose of restoration is less fatigue when listening.
Materials on the topic:War of Volume,War without winners,Dynamic range and war by volume,16/44_&_24/192
    Dynamic Range DB
in English: Clipping (audio),Loudness war,Dynamic Range & The Louds War

Processing: Adobe Audition with plugins Thimeo Stereo Tool, Fabfter Pro-L2, Fabflter Pro-Q3, Voxengo Elephant, GoodHertz Midside 3, iZotope RX
    Monitoring of the result:
    Instation equipment: NAD D 1050 + Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro + Airpulse A100 + Jamo Sub 260
    Mobile equipment: Samsung A40 + Sennheiser CX 980, Samsung S9 + Beyerdynamic DTX 350m
Note: Deklipping and restoration of the dynamic range - not a panacea for low-quality recording. The purpose of restoration is less fatigue when listening, and a sound close to the one conceived by the sound engineer, before the intervention of marketers.

can anyone tell more on how such process is done successfully? I assume it's kind of de-clipping, dynamics expansion, maybe some broadcast-quality multiprocessor style thing?
I could imagine computers nowadays should be able to handle such kind of live processing without need of offline rendering?

PS: no piracy and no sources to download pls, I want to discuss the topic, not promote downloads of music
