So,

I recently ran out of my dune 2 30 day trial and i was having so much fun with it, i don't have to purchase it, else i def would.

My question here is…is it possible to renew the 30 day trial?

I was running synplant on a 30 dial trial and i could renew it by deleting a file that was hidden in my mac. I'm wondering if the same could be done with dune2, deleting that file and cheating the system into thinking that what i'm using is a new 30 day trial vst.

 

Don't know shit about OSX and of course I don't encourage anything like whatever. That's up to u.

Depends how they do it & what implemented others far more qualified than myself will be able to answer if they so wish.

Normally on PC u just mess with registry/find hidden folders/new accounts etc & other things but as I said depends what system they implement I guess.

Pretty sure there a simple way.

Anyway just buy it if u at all able u get some good deals & it well worth it in the long run imho.

im on windows myself but what i do sometimes is install programs
into sandboxie and that way find all the reg / files ect that they install,
if you can get something like that for mac it should help,

 

I haven't found the right file to delete on the mac in order to reset the clock.

 

Use your DAW (for example FL Studio)with http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/run_as_date.html
This is one of the the most powerful time changers in the web.
All of your plugins will be effected. Just use the right Date and time.

 

I think 30 days is a fair amount of time to evaluate something.

if I remember well there was something called IDR reset, but probably do not work with latest OSs and it changes the dates on your computer, a problematic thing for me...
There is so many well cracked and free AUIs that is incredible ask for more.
