    Hey guys,

I know this might be a little simple, but any idea how to program the chords that come in the start of this track?
I'm talking bout the dubby chords on the offbeat

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

sounds like something low pass filtered with a little longer attack.
maybe some pulse/square-related or/and some wavetable stuff...

try to use the recommended global filter/adsr settings and switch through the wavetables of Massive, play around with wavetable positions and intensities... but that's just an idea.

nice track btw. - Günther Lause => following!

    are you german?

Reaktors Ensembles like 'Titan' already have snapshots (=presets) offering these kind of wonderful dubby chords, the factory library also contain a few more instruments allowing you to create these chords easily out of snaps with a few clicks. I'd even guess the tune IS made of these snaps ;)

hey id say its a square or saw or combination of the two with a lowpass. play with your attack, decay, sustain and release until you get it right.
heres a tutorial for a pretty similar sound, its using operator in ableton but im sure you can translate this to any other synth.

    good luck

I don't know if this will be helpful but here we go anyway:

I once made a tutorial for a sound in sonic academy ANA that is comparable, if you tune it down an octave.

Here is the tutorial, an mp3 demo (but the sounds will be an octave too high for your purpose) and a pdf on how I created the sounds. There's also the preset for ANA. If you are using ANA, don't forget you have to put the preset in the default folder, ANA doesn't have a preset search function yet.

This tutorial is that basic, that you can create this stab with any subtractive synth (sylenth1, dune, you name it)

    Best,
