    Hi everyone :)

Anybody willing to recommend some of their favorite drum sample packs to use when sequencing?

Iv been using the same old packs for a a while now and wouldn't mind trying out something new.
I'm not looking for anything genre specific, I don't mind chopping up loops too.

    Thanks in advance.

PS: Please tell me if iv posted this in the wrong forum, this is my first thread:bow:.

This. It's more than drums but even leaving the other samples out it's by far the most useful and quality pack of percussion I've seen. It's huge, the drum samples are high passed and processed (as far as I know) and ready to use without a lot of messing around.

The Thomas Penton series is excellent quality for general electronic styles. It's just straight, no nonsense ready-to-go samples that sound right. I've had plenty of Vengeance, Wave Alchemy and Goldbaby to compare and if I could only keep one set, it would be Thomas Penton's.

Goldbaby's stuff are pretty awesome plus some Sample Magic and Samplephonics packs and even the free samples at Sampleradar are pretty good.

what genre do you program??........what im getting at is that its pointless me pointing you towards eg house or dnb or various acoustic rock or real drum kits without first knowing a bit about what you yourself program?

    Search for "popmusic hit kit"

It is an amazing kit that contains more or less anything you can imagine. Very high quality drum/sample pack.

Good point, the bulk of my work is Hip hop, but i'm on the hunt for some different sounds. For example I downloaded a deep house kit a while ago and loved the hi hats in it because they weren't your usual 'trap hi hats' if that makes sense, so anything that you think sounds good i'll take a look at :boombox:
