Hello guys, Can any of you recommend any good drum and bass synth preset packs out there, ideally for omnisphere but willing to look at any. Tons of stuff related to other genres but not much for dnb for some reason. Whilst we are on the subject, what's everyone's go to synth for DnB ?

Operator - For bass sounds to resample.
    Serum - Same as above.
Omnisphere 2 - Leads, pads, atmosphere, bass, everything really! A jack of all trades.
Simpler/Sampler - for triggering resampled bass sounds.

Depends on what style of dnb you're making too. If you're going for the heavy Neuro type sound I think synths and presets are only going to get you partly there. You need to think about resampling long bass sounds with a tons of movement, automation and then cutting out interesting sections and arranging them to create a 'riff'. Frequent has some good tutorials on YouTube where he goes into this in quite some detail - well worth a watch.

If you're making something like Liquid dnb, I think you'll find it much easier to get something rolling just using synths and presets although lots of tunes in this niche also use samples.
