downtempo drums how to ...????

    hi there !!!!
    how can I get this sort of drum sound ??
    which kind of filter or plugs would you use to get this kind of lo-fi efx?
    i know that i could use an efx drum break
    I'd rather work on my own midi drum patterns (i use abbey road 60's drum)

    For inspiration, have a listen to Kruder and Dorfmeister (aka K&D)..."Sessions" is one of their greatest 2-CD productions.
    And Tosca and Thievery Corporation.

    it uses Eq + Saturation + Compression .

    You can check several plugs like iZotope Trash, Ohmicide …

    That drum sound should be real easy if you use the right plugins. Just follow Davea's recommendation and you'll catch it in no time. :bow:
