I was listening to a song by Lilgiela33, and in several songs he uses an FX in the vocal mix, which on the last word at the end of sentences or on the last syllable, he adds an effect that sounds like the voice is far away and big. He uses it in several songs, but to make it easy for you to understand, an example is this excerpt from the song “Sentimento e Remédio”.

I tried to replicate the effect by putting a reverb in parallel processing but it doesn't seem to be how he does it, because it doesn't sound like the Dry signal exists in his mix. Anyway, if you know I'd be grateful, because I think you can use the same technique in several ways.

Sorry for the dumb question, but would this processing be directly in the Lead Vocal's mix chain, or would it apply in parallel? because if it's not in parallel, how would I activate the Reverb and turn it off while maintaining the tail, without running over the next phrase?

put the word you want to process on a separate track. On this track open a pingpong delay (1/4) 100% wet then on the same track open a vocal plate and diffuse this delay inside (maybe 30%). as pronchi suggested eventualy use an eq to shve some high and low frequencies if need.
