Double Octave Bass Arpeggiation

    Does anyone know how to make a double octave arpeggiated sequencer like the one in this video? I've seen how to do it in things like Zebra2 but was hoping for some way to do it in a DAW like Ableton Live in order to trigger any synth or VI. The concept is a sequence of rhythmic intervals that transpose at a certain programmable point.

    Back on Ableton after quite a while.. so a bit rusty. But till somebody comes up with a better solution, you can try this:

    From MIDI effects drop the Arpeggiator before the synth, Style Down & Up, Steps 1, Distance +12
    You probably want to Sync to Note (trigger). Adjust Gate and Rate (usualy 1/16) to your tempo.

    For the sake of historical accuracy, IIRC (e.g.) the I Feel Love "doubled" bassline was achieved by delaying the four notes..
