I think people esp non Asio client users should read all the posted article, seems lots of problems for some.

What i positively noticed on Win10 is that it fixed midi timing problem in S1, at least for me. It always recorded notes like a few ms earlier and no matter what fix or setting i tweaked, i've got the same problematic recording result. Now there's everything fine like a miracle. I had this problem on Win7/8/8.1 in the past. I'm glad that v10 came up with an unexpected fix like this.

    idk, but says this:

Zorin OS gives users more flexibility.
It allows you to use Zorin OS alongside your current operating system and run Microsoft Windows programs in Zorin OS with the help of WINE and PlayOnLinux.

i UPGRADED ON WIN 10 everything is fine also with asio. But i would not recommend to update. Win 10 still has a lotta bugs. Wait until the end of the year maybe it will be better then.

I never trust an OS as a main option in my workstation if it's not mentioned in the manufacturer's drivers of the hardware/devices i own.
They (Zorin) say so, but it's more important for the manufacturer/devs to mention if their products are compatible with that specific OS.

I rock Win10 already with no bugs so far. I actually enjoy the improvements compared to the previous OSes.
Bugs are not only software-related. It's a matter of hardware as well, some old PCs might face more bugs with Win10 than newer builds. Also some other bugs simply disappear with a BIOS/drivers update which clearly proves that the bugs were hardware related.

    Hi All

I updated to Win 10 about 3 or 4 days ago

I use Reaper and have found that it and all the TP plugins work faultlessly....all Kontakt stuff, Amplitube, Native Instruments, Waves etc and Band in a Box

I haven't yet found any issues of any kind with any of the programmes that I am running

Maybe the shit has yet to hit the fan, but certainly not yet

The install was also faultless and I lost nothing in the process

    Great stuff!!:wink::wink::wink:

That may be true but isnt this topic about using the computer as a studio tool and for audio?
So why use that if you cant use a DAW and Asio drivers and Vst/Vsti:s?
It just take alot of place on your HD on your studio computer and may even make it slower.
Why do you need alot of "non audio" stuff on a studio computer?

to me, Microsoft should make us able to disable Cortana and all the shit that anyone could not want to use. 45MB of Cortana are very crappy. I will not use Cortana, I'm sure, so why I cannot kill the task in the task manager? just an example...

or do they have to spy us without any chance to let us go? :bleh:
