You're absolutely correct that more people should be doing this. I think we've all forgotten how to connect and part of that is gratitude. Every site, every post I think about how long it must have taken to put it together and then I think about how ridiculously easy it is to click a button or post a small comment. When you look at it like that you should come to the conclusion that it would be ridiculous NOT to do it. Maybe it's only me but I feel good when I show my gratitude and it enriches my life in so many ways. I GET to do it not I've GOT to do it, it's an opportunity not a chore.

Fun aside. It's a shame that you have to remember people to give a positive feedback once in a while.
On the other hand people don't eschew and are quite fast with pointing negative things out....

 

Absolutely I feel like humanity needs to be reconditioned because we take a lot for granted. It seems that our tolerance along with our gratitude has gone downhill and the only way to regain it is to keep things in perspective...to slow down and act towards others in the way that we would hope they would act towards us.
