    I'd add Flamma Fx200 to the list, somewhat pricier but not that much, considering the sound.

    I was just "youtubing" as I like to be in the loop with new gear and stumbled upon this relevant video from a guy I follow and trust a lot - Glenn Fricker. Well, he also thinks software is the way to go, especially if you're on a budget. It is logical since budget/cheaper hardware amps are software based, so you pay for a plugin that comes with hardware. I personally wouldn't mind having Helix in hardware, but anything less than that I just ignore when it comes to software+hardware. If one can afford real amps though and if you know what you're shelling out for, I say go for it. :wink:

    @SineWave
    ToneX and/or THU Rig Player : you are set amps wise
    And for a LOT less money than anything hardware with the same sound
    Even NAM for free (above)

    I still love my GE200 loaded with Anthony Class profiles (see my posts here on the subject) as "regular practice rig"

    As a guy who started with the FIRST EVER hardware and software modelers (Guitar Suite, Zoom Digitech POD anyone ?), i can tell you profilers are a LOT better than modelers.

    Just play with dynamic, lower guitar volume ... and hear.

    It is obvious (even if i love Helix sometimes ) at 12:00 minutes :

    Hear the dynamic on GE250, and the over compressed crunch on Helix.
    Mooer GE200 + feels like a real amp, like Kemper and QC
