Yes , I was thinking in terms of the YouTube channel being a TV station Music Education.
Then several different series or shows.( With their own episodes and seasons )
While also creating options of being about purchase a more in depth long video series or books on a topic or area split into 3 areas .
- Beginner
- Intermediate
- Advanced
( These digital products would be available for purchase and would go extremely deep in depth and length )
So people unable to purchase anything will still get everything it's just not the greatest depth down to every detail on a subject.
Next, I am working on a New type of music to go along with the channel .
So at different points in time albums, music videos , documentaries would be available for free on the channel as well as to purchase.
One more aspect I want the videos to have is user submit of their music to be played for the audience . The only aspect I not sure about ( a t least for a while( is Skype lessons , simply because my time is stretched so much just to do all this . But at some point it could be possible.

Do you mean the cultural slang ?
Like this whole category we call " music "
In the general sense?
Or do you mean the word music in the sense of what it means?

Does that differentiate good music from bad music?
Or how about original music vs generic music?

And if we make no distinction between any of these things .
What is it exactly that brings value to attepting to think about it in that way ?
What can it accomplish by thinking in the most vague category slang use of " music",
In the most vague sense and not even considering aspects such as good or bad music?
Original or derivative music ?
For myself before I even begin thinking about the topic I ask what could potentially be accomished by the thought excersise?

So first of all I differentiate slang category of music from the word itself
( Melody
Harmony
Rhythm)
So that's unpacking " music".
That's the starting point.
Next further differentiating between
Good and bad , derivative vs original

Good and bad relates to
Melody
Harmony
Rhythm
Being developed to under developed
( A gradient )
Example a " song"
Could be underdeveloped in harmony but have a good beat and just okay main melody.
This has bad qualities so far
( Underdeveloped harmony and Bart developed melody but good developed rhythm )
Next what is being done in terms of creativity?
This gets differentiated into .
Familiarity vs originality

If the song is just mimicing exactly wants been done before than this scores very poor in Bad category .
Finally when we look at how the song does in all those ways it is a " bad" song.
( In terms of music )
So the music part of it is bad objectively.

( However being " bad music"
Says nothing about how it emotionally impacts you.
It could be a person has not cultivated " musical taste " very well and only really knows bad music or just likes bad music for non music reasons.
" I like the production quality "
Well, that's not about music but the delivery of it .
You might like that and it ups the score towards good slightly.
" I like the lyrics "
Again this aspect has zero connection to music but it does have a connection to human beings and can greatly impacts perception of a song.
So my point is that .
Breaking the idea down a bit like this has the potential ( by thinking about it )
To acheive something .
Where as if we just keep " music"
To mean this very broad topic in society a generic category with no differentiation further.
In that case I can't figure out what could be accomplished by thinking that way , and if it couldn't accomplish anything by doing that.
Why make the decision to excersise your will to activate thinking about it?
