    Hi All

Hope everyone is good, I've become pretty interested in understanding how streaming platforms Normalize audio and am looking for some sort of Windows software capable of real time analysis of (Hopefully) RMS level or any other perceived loudness meter to learn from.

I'm currently running my additional output 1-2 to a mixer and reading the LED Output level but that isn't very informative, but it does give an indication, and I can see the difference between heavily limited music and dialogue hanging around -6db for example..

I could always download certain content to check the loudness but having some sort of software like the default WIndows ' Mixer ' would make life more interesting.

When I worked with Pro Tools and the 002 Mixer I could actually get Chrome's output as an input into Pro Tools but I do not own that equipment anymore. Any Solutions??

I'm not sure what you really needs: a standalone app or an AAX component?

Nugen VisLM2 and Pure analyser by flux are both stand alone and do loudness measurememnt. Nugen only does loudness on this one, pure analyser does many other stuffs.
They are both available on the sister site.

FLUX Is hopefully what i'm looking for, tried the Nugen VisLM2, and it works but only has no RMS measurement, thanks.

    Sadly, no RME interface though,

Okay, this is the closest i'll get (I used the True Peak meter on the Nugen), sadly i'm running a loop (output 1-2 Into Input 7-8) of my interface so i'm sure my readings won't be 100% correct due to A/D conversions and topics ways over my head .

If I could somehow get Nugen take all Applications sound directly i'd probably be closer.

Thanks for the input though, will test FLUX now.

EDIT: With the Flux, using a Sinewave test at 0db
