I'm a tad confused as to what it is exactly. Anyone more clued up than me?

Battery 4 Factory Library came with a folder structure and a .nicnt file that was used with Battery 4. However, with Batter 4.3.0 there seems to be a new Battery Now Library, which has a slightly different folder structure and no .nicnt file.

Does it replace the Battery 4 Factory Library?

Is it to be installed/copied to the same location as the Battery 4 Factory Library?

Should it be merged into the same folder as the Battery 4 Factory Library?

I'm just confused and trying to understand exactly what it is.

it is an addon to the factory library, (it can be used alone)
as all Maschine Expansions including battery kits.

battery will scan and collect all before it show in the browser.
there is no need to mix anything.

How do I add it to Battery 4.3.0 then? Sorry for the stupid question

The Battery Factory Library is picked up by default by my Battery 4.3.0. I have installed Battery Now Library next to the Factory Library in the same D:\ drive, that is:

    D:\Native Instruments\Battery Factory Library
    D:\Native Instruments\Battery Now Library

With the Factory Library, it had the placer.exe with it to set the location, which is why my Battery 4.3.0 pick it up faultlessly. So, how do I get Battery to see and use the second Battery Now Library folder content too? Or is it a case of having to manually navigate to it using the Battery in-built browser?

    it use 2 regedit location
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Battery 4 Factory Library
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Battery Now Library
simply check the ContentDir path if you move or rename the folder.

also let Battery scan these 2 folders entirelly too show them.
if the scan is not finished, it need close and reopen to see the added folder.
and battery will show both at the second opening.

the NI database management is always slow.

Last time I had both installed I think it was mostly duplicates since Battery 4 Factory Library has all that is in now lib. I might be wrong and need correcting.
