I know that meldaeq has a feature to reduce a harmonic, but using too many instances for each note/ automating throughout the whole song is not practical most of the time .

Any dynamic eq. Just find the hz value of the harmonic. Easy.

A harmonic can be notched out with just any EQ - when done subtle & with care, it won't harm the rest of the tone & character of a voice or instrument. You also don't need no automation. Al it takes is a parametric EQ set to a high Q of 18 dB/Oct or even more, then reduce the gain on that band.
You can easily find the offending harmonic by starting with a lower Q and high gain, sweep the frequency until you found it. Finally enlarge the Q, & dial in a negative gain to fine tune. You can repeat the procedure with a second and third harmonic.

As 5teezo and TW mentioned, it does indeed exist, it's called SurferEQ:

    Uses iLok though. :(

There is an AudioUtopia release of 2.0.1.0, it uses their own installer that installs a patched version with no iLok. It was posted on Audioz at one point but it seems any and all posts and mention of it have been deleted. Not sure what's up with that. (Maybe it was not working properly?)

    The latest version is 2.0.2.0.

I believe the 2.0.1.0 needs a graphics card with OpenGL hardware acceleration, the 2.0.2.0 has a software rendering mode (this hasn't been released by any group AFAIK).

It was working fine, the AudioUtopia version, but it has been DMCAed from AZ so it's gone. If you see a release of those come out again, grab them fast, it won't stay long as Sound Radix get them DMCA.

Check out Har-bal (there's a less-than-current version on Audioz)... it is not exactly an EQ, but is exactly what you asked for:
"Eq that equilizes dynamicaly only certain harmonic"
(normal EQs do not generally deal specifically with harmonics, only frequency ranges)

Things of all sort get DMCAed all the time. it depends of companies. Sound radix gets dmca like always (you can't find drum leveler, PI or auto align anymore either, but they were all released). Lately oddity for win has been DMCAed, sound banks/ktk libs by certain companies too (a lot of spitfire for example although lately a bit less, goldbaby for most libs or in softwares Melda P products always get DMCAed like in a couple of days time, the bundle was released 15 days ago on AZ and yet it's gone now).
If you want to grab them all, check often and dowload them right away.

AZ centralizes a lot of different types of releases (official scene, P2P, individual gifts, exclusive), and I'm not aware of any archive that references everything that has been released there. There is a log for official scene releases, but it seems to have stopped at the end of 2012 (https://www.audiop2p.com/index.php).

Talmi, I was only kidding. ;)

Freedom2, Har-Bal has its uses but at its core it's "just" an EQ; by no means can it automatically track harmonics based on pitch the way SurferEQ can.

When most people say "dynamic EQ," what they're talking about is pretty much a type of multi-band compressor with the "look and feel" of an EQ. It works vertically, on the Y axis. (Only boosts or cuts bands if their level reaches a threshold.)

A pitch or harmonic based dynamic EQ is a pretty new concept and works horizontally, on the X axis, to automatically change the bands that get boosted or cut based on the loudest groups of frequencies (the "harmonics"). SurferEQ can track up to five groups or harmonics (i.e., the "bands"), from the first loudest group to the fifth loudest group. It doesn't work in stereo (yet); it's meant for single-mic'd instruments or vocals/voices ATM. (It can also be used like a regular EQ.)

I think SurferEQ is the only pitch/harmonic based dynamic EQ right now, but I'm sure other developers will come out with their own versions in the future.

Raffz, on the main site, you can try entering a search in the Duck Duck Go box. It often comes up with results that have been deleted from Audioz. You may be able to see release group and other info in the results, even though the links to Audioz will come up not found. Not exactly a catalog but it's something. :bleh:
