Nice, I may have to get another copy. It's been nearly 20 years since I had it, to see its still around is surprising. Skining and themes used to be a big thing back then.

Yea that what sucks, I figured the software would be obsolete these days since Microsoft controls virtually everything with windows these days. I wouldn't think ayn 3rd party would work with themeing.

Man I'd be happy to be back with Windows XP or Vista LOL. Even now looking for files in explorer I get pissed off. Everything used to just be listed, now everything has dates and shit and sorted by types so I had trouble finding the files I downloaded lol. I can't tell you how many times I unzip a file into a directory and cant find it.

They have a theme right now called Aero 11 that transforms everything to Win7 Aero look and looks fucking cool. But most important,
I just realized a dude in Deviant Art has made a testing app for Window Blinds Skins and it also supports MsStyles.
Here's some screenshots from the app and the link to dl it. It's 1.2 mb.

Wow that is a name I haven't heard mentioned for ...gotta be more than 25 years. Yes I had it on Win98/ XP. I then went on to Tune-up Utilities which I liked more. I had this one theme called night (something or other) which changed the shape and style of everything to the way i wanted it.

The only reason I stopped using it was they got bought out by AVG if I remember correctly. I hated that AV

I remember Windowsblinds from the XP era. If your machine back then was not slow enough already, it made it even worse.
It's easy to remember some of these things favorably due to nostalgia.

Most people who like customizing their desktop have moved to Linux and Hyprland (or some other tiling window manager) and are in fact currently tweaking their window manager settings instead of getting shit done.

I know, I'm that type though I have mostly given up on that. I'm one of those guys who used to have multi-kB .emacs files.
