any feedback good or bad please!! does anyone enjoy this shit???

 

Very nice intro...I would give the percussion some more reverb for a slightly more ethereal feel, I love the way the vocals come in and the smooth synths. Beautiful drop with the piano and build up, perfection for me, maybe some ping pong delay on the vocals would be nice, filtered so it swirls around speakers and extends out a bit to give it more presence and again contributing to the euphoric feel of the song. Also, I would like to hear some pads in the background harmonizing with the vocals with the cutoff being automated. I love the vocal chops starting at 3:20 and how everything kind of smooths out

Absolutely beautiful song overall, very good work, production is excellent and the arrangement is great, maybe the only thing its missing is an epic break in the middle where the drums are gone, a huge pad comes in and maybe some new harmonies, a nice arp or something like that, basically just add more drama to the break you started at 2:30.

 

I appreciate the feedback!! there actually was a little bit of ping pong on the vocal, not enough to really notice but thats a great idea think. i see what you mean about adding more to the break, new harmonies and its funny cause i almost always go straight to arpeggios for the chords just to move it along a bit, switch it up, but for some reason i didnt this time. I felt like the more i added the more i would take away? idk. But fucking great feedback man!! i'm genuinely happy you enjoyed it overall

Music Side of Things
I was grooving to your song, it was Clean & bright, your fading skills are almost top notch and i genuine like it I've listened to it at least six times now lol.
I do feel you should make drum & Bass more tighter & punchier(if that's a word lol) percussion are nicely pan but they also suffer from thinness IMO.
I may just be picky, but i like this song and plan on hearing more from you Keep It Up!!! Now Excuse Me while I Transcend........

 

im happy you enjoy it! and i do i have faith in myself, i just wanted someone to respond and actually give me feed back! so i was like fuck it, if you dont like it tell me! i dont care, i enjoy the song because i wouldnt have put it up or finished it if i thought it was complete garbage. it was kind of just a ploy (if thats the right word) to get a response or to draw people in.

I love that you've listened to it six times already i appreciate the feedback and input, i can see what you're saying about the percussion. I love and respect all criticism good or bad. you have to be honest in order to keep progressing i think, of course listening back now after posting it theres a handfull of things i would like to change, but now i'll implement those ideas in the next song. I'm rambling now lol but i'm thankful you and fuad responded :dancing: and even more so im glad you enjoy listening to the song!!

 

The section that starts at roughly 1min till 3min in. The rest just doesn't really flow with it.

SO yeah, while I actually really like the 2 minute section, the rest is kinda genericish late 90's techno sounding to me. Personally think you'd be better off modeling the song off of those 2 minutes. But at the same point I'm not really into over repeditive techno beats anymore. The rest could easily be used for hiphop/pop very easily vocal wise.

 

yeaa that 2 minute break is definitely the highlight of the whole, the intro outro is djing purposes i guess ya know, sounds generic but i do enjoy a good intro, not saying mine was the best but i would like to be able to one day have awesome intros that really draw you in. but i can see where you're coming from with the genericish of it. i was kinda thinking the same thing about a vocal or something of that nature over top of that, could easily turn into 3 minute hip hop/pop song lol something kinda similar to sub focus - endorphins but im glad you enjoyed that 2 minute section, definitely my favorite part lol i appreciate the feedback though man
