Hey everyone, I was looking for some 80s sounds, and I found this pack, but I'm not interested on it. But I really liked the drums from this specific loop, if anyone knows what drum machine is this, I would be really grateful.

The loop starts exactly at 2:16 = (MP3 that I don't know how to embed here)

First I thought it was Linn, but somehow it is distinct, they sound more snappy/tight, and it doesn't seem so be compression... idk.

Maybe it is some Linndrum clone? :dunno:

    Thx:mates:

I had that impression too, but none of the (many many ) linn drums samples I have, sound like this.

They need to be processed. Do you know the pack?

Another possibility is the Oberheim DX. Those 2 were, along with the Roland's offerings, what ruled in the 80's.

I know some processing is necessary, but still the tonality seems different. The pack is Deep Data Loops - 1980s Style Loops Vol.3, which unfortunately has no information at all.

Remember with the Linn you had the ability to tune the snares and congas. With that said, if you can't replicate those sounds with everything that is available nowadays...

Seems to be a mixed bag of sounds. Clap is Linndrum.
