Does anyone have real life experience(meaning here you have worked in your projects) with these software titles ? :
Sonuscore Chroma
Metropolis Ark 5
Dune 3 & Word of Sequences soundset ?

I'm looking forward purchasing these by the end of the year.
What is your opinion ?

Dune 3 is a really powerful synthesizer, I sampled it often

 

Not Ark 5 but i've been using the other metropolis arks a lot. They are very specialized on what they do, meaning each one has it's "theme" and will accomplish it wonderfully, but they don't handle very well what's outside that theme. They are designed to complement each other.

Aside from that, OT has a very bright and defined sound in general, which sometimes doesn't play well with other instruments. If you're using OT stuff only, sometimes it can feel a little "cold" in comparisson to other alternatives, but the definition tends to be better.

So idk, if versatility is important i don't think an ark (any ark) would be a good choice on it's own. But like i said i haven't used ark5 specifically, so take this as an educted guess at best.
