i tried to follow all of your instructions, but on the last step, i ended up with:

There are no versions that come to mind that do not work. BobbyD's Full versions are all I use and those are easily just capable of being installed over with each newer version. If you are using any thing else I would recommend clean uninstalling the current Kontakt and install the new FULL BDule version. Replace the nativeaccess.XML file with the newest/latest one, and allow Kontakt to rescan all your libraries. You should be golden at that point.

 

That's right, and my bad for not explicitly mentioning it. You need to create it there if you need it, and you'd only need it if you have several installations side by side. It's just a text file, and repeating from the previous page it's something like:

PluginId is always 4 characters. The default official is "NiK8" so don't use that if you have it installed from Native Access, just make something up. PluginName is what appears in your DAW.

 

i feel like i am getting a lot closer, but even though Kontakt8 now comes up in my daw, there are no libraries. and yes, i did follow your instructions on how to install them. in fact when i open library manager, it shows the factory library, piano uno and leap lo-fi vibes libraries, and i click save, shutt down the daw, restart, and then start kontakt8portable again, there are still no libraries showing.
