Low octave saw wave. Lowpass filter enveloping the cutoff. That's it.

Saw, little bit of white noise, 2 voice unison with little detune, lp filter, cutoff envelope, little bit of resonance. Eq, compression, saturation.

The bassline is but 3 simple notes that can be played with one finger. And as far as the sound of it there is no general answer because no one knows the default state of the sound/s in question. For example, if there was a solo portion of the bass in the arrangement above you could cut the notes and use a sample player instrument to play the exact sound in the form of a default preset. However, when you listen to finished material you like it is most always mixing and mastering questions as far as the sound goes. So when you are working on your own material and it comes to your bassline.. start with a compressor >EQ >limiter, and use them patiently to tailor it to your liking. If the end result is too harsh or narrow, send it to a stereo bus with subtle reverb and/or short delay and experiment with those patiently. If you want to explore in mixing and mastering you may have the potential to surpass your desire for the sound above. If you don't, you will always have to send your music to someone who does because there are no universal instrument presets that sit right with everything in a song.

CocTailshake- I made you a preset on Sylenth but don't let that keep you from trying to make it yourself. Practice, practice, practice! I know it sounds lame but it really is the answer to learning sound design. Here is the link...
