The arrangement is great, nice melody, great balance between clean sounds and distorted bassline.

But what's the dynamic range and the overall RMS of this? It sounds pretty squased to my old ears.

I think he meant it sounds already squashed with little dynamic range :wow:

It's the way that stuff is supposed to sound though, so i would'nt worry about comments like that.
Really well done dude, sounds good enough to be put out and played in clubs no problem.

You wrong it's too squashed and won't sound so great in a club (where it will be even more compressed)

Doct3r is a fine producer of this music you can't take that away from him, and he has some great ideas in his tracks but for what ever reason, his tracks just seems way over compressed.
Are you getting your tracks signed by a label? Don't they say anything about this?
If your using pre made patches for sylenth for example, go into sylenth and turn off the compressor, or at least dial it down a bit. Patches have loads of compression on them to make them sound good on there own, and chances are your adding a compressor on the channel and probably more on a bus.
Look at the levels in your mixer, are they maxed out or are they bouncing up and down? Don't limit things so hard there is no need.

You are probably just pushing the limiter on the master too hard to make it loud? Turn it down abit there is really no need.

    Good luck!
