Like the title says, i'm curious to know how many users are using this payment system.

Do you use it because you can buy some online stuff without having to swipe a visa, etc ?

i wonder if some online services, like VPN's, do accept such payments...
"Use our vpn, you are absolutely anonymous, nobody can ever know who you are, no traffic is logged, etc. Oh, but to pay and register, we will need 100 personal data, your blood type, your grand-mother iban, your fingerprint, your iris scan... but again, no worries, you will be 300% anonymous, when you use our VPN" :)

i have used it in the past. i only used it a couple times to purchase a premium service online. it is very difficult in my area to find a place to purchase it. and it wasn't really a "card". they just gave me a receipt that had a redemption code on it. i found it pretty awkward to use because you can only buy it in specific denominations (for example, i think i bought $25). but then if you're buying something that costs $22.89, there's no way to get that other $2.11 back. i guess if you use it often enough, that wouldn't be a very big issue.

There have been cases where VPNs have been told by a judge to reveal data and they said "we don't have that data" and were successful. But most VPNs probably DO log.

    Nothing is 100% secure
    VPN = Very Poor Neutrality
And not to mention the wireless devices in your home
Wifi and bluetooth are designed to be abused

Once i was trying to get a giganews subscription, (to try to find some bluray 3d iso), and i was shocked all the info they needed, just to create a 14-day trial: email, phone number, complete address, and much more.

I just checked their TOS, 1st thing, at the very top:

'Usenet Personal Account Terms of Service

    Privacy and Security
Computer security and privacy are complex issues. It is important to understand these points:

We will cooperate with law enforcement officials and with other system administrators in the legitimate investigation of suspicious activity.Intentional violations of the privacy of other users, whether on our system or at another site, will be grounds for immediate termination of your account and may lead to criminal prosecution or civil penalties. We will not intentionally disclose the contents of private files without the member's permission or a court order.'

In another words, if they receive the slightest and smallest request regarding 1 user.. or 10'000 users, their policy is 'sir, here is ALL the data' about this/these user/s, ip address, date of connexion, ISP, downloaded file name, size, news group, here is his phone and physical address, you can raid his house, seize his 5 networked computers he uses to play online games with friends'

I didn't know Vyperpvn was working with giganews ? Because that's a big vpn provider, i think ?
For 100% sure, vypervpn IS LOGGED AND they give out all the info and data about any user, without even contesting whatsoever.

In other words, these vpn services are as anonymous as a trans dude, 6.5 feet, with a huge beard and hairy arms, trying to find a 'woman' job, by simply wearing a skirt and a top tank, and saying 'i feel like a woman, today'.... it won't work.. can't trust it.

Yes, long time ago, the newsgroup were used by the sick pedo guys, to share kid shit. Today, they are using encrypted channels, encrypted emails, on alternative webs. No one would be crazy enough to use usenet for that purpose.
So, basically, the newsgroup people are, for the most part, downloading software, video, porn...

In my are, the 5g is becoming a true madness. Every day, you walk/drive down a street, and say, hey, that 5g cell, yesterday, it wasn't there !

The other day, a French guy, from the telecom, was talking about the 5g, and HOW it was going to replace the current fiber installations. YES, REPLACE. There is nothing better than an old good cable. For sure, companies, and governments, aren't happy with the fiber. Probably they aren't able to do some sniffing /hacking things. ..?
They are quickly deploying 5g cells, before people , associations, etc, start massively talking about it, how no tests were made, the health issues. .. to work properly, they need a 5g cell every 100m/300ft. That means 100 cells per square km. A small town, like 10km x 10km, will have 10 fuking thousands 5g cells !

It will be worse than putting our head inside a microwave, and press the 'cancer' button !

They dream of a all-wireless planet. No more cables. Nothing. Just quadrillions of microwaves, creating new types of cancers, new diseases, new sleep disorders.
For sure, they will implement hundreds of backdoors, so governments can spy a whole house, all the people, intercept all their video/text chats, sms/mms, phone calls, everything. The day people will put 99% of their life on the smartphone, governments will need a way to access all that data.

    Anonymity. ... lol....

The anonymity will officially end with the 5g.
Also on TV, there are people who have replaced their door, key, etc, by an digital key, connected to the smartphone, etc. ..the postman can receive a sihfle access, to open the main door, and place the package inside... while being filmed by a camera and watched by the owner... soo cool.... one day, when such keys and doors become mandatory, by insurance companies, and an entire city has digital locks. .. a government can lock an entire family , by simply pressing a button.

I wonder how 2030 will be. If the entire planet hasn't blown away, if no new virus has killed 80% of the population, is going to be a crazy world.

Anyone using these cards to buy uploaded? Or other file hosts ? i think 1fichier accepts paysafecard... rapidgator.. not 100% sure.

It's weird. Most people doing warez, or even downloading iso blurays from filehosts, should prefer a paying solution that doesn't require using a visa, paypal, back accounts...

For example, the most used filehost, uploaded.net....
Anyone willing to use it, buy premium, etc, only need an email to create an account.... once the account was created, and the guy wants to buy premium, all he needs to do is heading to a local store, a mall... a gas station... or anyone who sells those cards, he buys a 25, 75 or 125 $/€ card.... goes to the uploaded website, selects his premium plan, like 1 month- $9.99.... selects paysafecard... enters the PSCard serial number, clicks Pay... and voila. His paysafecard number still has $15 left.
Now the uploaded premium is activated, and the guy didn't have to provide his visa credentials, paypal, bank accounts, etc. NOTHING.

I've been using paysafecards for buying Premium, and to me, it is the perfect solution. It allows me to have a better control over the things i buy, because i know i currently only have xx.xx bucks left... whereas if i pay with paypal, visa, etc, i don't care how much things will cost... 30...90....130... just click 'buy'... and it's done.

Want to subscribe to that cool guitar chords website ? Or any other small website, that you don't 100% trust... if they allow paying with the paysafecard, why not using it, instead of giving away the full name, full address, full visa numbers, paypal address...?

Just saying. No shareholder here :)

How a Bitcoin Evangelist Made Himself Vanish, in 15 (Not So Easy) Steps
In October 2017, a SWAT team descended on Jameson Lopp’s house in North Carolina. Someone — it still isn’t clear who — had called the police and falsely claimed that a shooter at the home had killed someone and taken a hostage. After the police left, Mr. Lopp received a call threatening more mayhem if he did not make a large ransom payment in Bitcoin.

To scare off future attackers, Mr. Lopp quickly posted a video on Twitter of himself firing off his AR-15 rifle. He also decided he was going to make it much harder for his enemies — and anyone else — to find him ever again.

Mr. Lopp, a self-described libertarian who works for a Bitcoin security company, had long been obsessed with the value of privacy, and he set out to learn how thoroughly a person can escape the all-seeing eyes of corporate America and the government. But he wanted to do it without giving up internet access and moving to a shack in the woods.
