Do you think being in a relationship with someone who makes u feel elated 24/7 can be bad long term to continually feel like that? Like you're with someone so special all the time?
as compared to be with someone who u feel relaxed to be around instead of continually thinking they are special

My girlfriend made me feel elated 24/7. The second week, not so much.

Just enjoy it while understanding things usually change. In my personal experience, it’s good to know how to spot codependency issues and address them asap. And of course, don’t let yourself get so addicted to these feelings that you begin to neglect other parts of your life that you know are important.

I think balance is important, if you start to feel overly dependent and if it starts to stress you out then I'd say something is wrong.

 

get yourself a dose whatever you think you missed out on in life, then get the next dose of the next from the next girl, then someday maybe, youll learn to tolerate yourself and the girl/boy/girl-boy next to you

Without contrast you're essentially flatlining. When "elation" becomes the norm it can no longer be "elation" (by definition, actually).

Having said that, anticipating that a partner be the source of ones happiness and wellbeing is a recipe for discontent.

Don't overthink everything, that can be bad for anything you do long term.

 

The feeling of elation can't be long term, because it's solely based on dopamine overdose.
Also there are people who manipulate you by making you feel elated. Google "Dark Triad" for more info. Given that you're obviously neurodivergent, you're more susceptible to this kind of people. Whenever something strikes you as a red flag, do actually stop and give it a second glance. Confront your partner about it.

It's important to state that I don't say this *will* happen, but rather that it *can* happen from where I'm standing. And your relationship won't suffer from *a few* precautions.

My girlfriend makes me feel elated 24/7 but that's just a necessary corrective to my wife who nags me 24/7.

 

Even if she was a girl of my dreams, I must sleep at least 8 hours a day and forget all about her.
