I just put my S-950 up for auction on ebay Kleinanzeigen. Since I bought it I've never used it anyways. I'm fine with staying inside the box.

The Yamaha TX16W was my first sampler in 1993, think I paid £450 for it. I absolutely hated it even with the Typhoon upgrade!
The only hardware sampler I still use is an EMU SP-12 which I still love.

i have an akai S3000XL that i use from time to time, but to be honest, for me, its more of a play toy than for serious projects. i use it more for when im looking for inspiration and happy accidents than when i have an idea in mind. that is probably because i still do not know it to its full potential as i have only had it for short while (i got it for free so couldnt watch it get thrown in the garbage!).

Let me know if you sell it. ;) Already have an E5000 Ultra but would love to throw a 6400 next to it (its got more outputs than mine does). Is it an Ultra or a classic one?

Well, I still own a Mirage! But I mainly just use it for a controller. I have a complete disk set and sometimes it's a gas to load one up and enjoy the 8 bit glory though ;)
