I recently found an ad about this masterclass in a video by Au5, and I was wondering if it's worth it. I've seen other videos where people say that it's worth it and that there's information you won't find elsewhere. Then I see the owners of those YouTube channels on the Dawnation page and it makes me suspect if they are people being paid to speak good things about the masterclass. Has anyone here bought this masterclass? Is it worth it?

 

It may be a good class but they are never worth what they try to charge for them. "Secret info"? There's a new one. Try looking it up like this...

it's $150. It doesn't matter how good it is. You could get a year video learning subscription on groove3 or other for the same price.

I think people are sometimes overwhelmed by the amount of tutorials and tips available for free and seek one master class, thinking that , because they pay for it, it must be better, at least.
Sure, there is a lot of redundant info out there but usually not so hard to filter using Google.
Wait until you can't do something you want to and then search.

I'm sure the people saying it is any good are serious. People who have watched it for free have said many of the same praises.
You can learn a few things from almost any of them. When the class is the same price as the synth, it's getting a little stupid.
