Hi guys, I was wondering if the app you choose to download torrent files matters when you're seeding.
I use qbtorrent and it doesn't upload / seed almost never.
I was wondering if I need to change app for that.

    Thanks

The best free torrent clients at a glance

    1. qBittorrent
    2. Vuze
    3. Deluge
    4. uTorrent
    5. BitTorrent

The problem is that most of them don't stay online long enough.
When you have your belongings, log out. Ego movie!

uTorrent - Very malicious and very dodgy, not only has it included multiple forms of malware in the past (and possibly present) but it's also associated with the world's biggest copyright troll; the MPAA.
Bittorrent - Is the exact same program as above

    I personaly use Transmission

disagree, there are cleaned utorrent releases, which are better than qbittorent. Also everything else than utorrent is resource hungry. im running utorrent 3.1.3 right now, which is a bit more agressive, when it comes to download.
it needs 10,3MB RAM here on windows 10. Im seeding 50 torrents right now - with the biggest one 5GB.

qbittorrent takes 200MB RAM, Vuze is Java written, Bittorrent crashes the first time i opened it, also lots of ads in it.

dont know id stay with older utorrent versions and there is no miner in it, as its a cleaned version, it also includes no ads and other stuff. the whole setup is 1,7MB
ohhh yes Ktorrent and transmission are also very good alternatives.

ohhh wow i remember the first utorrent version with 200kb - this was so awsome.

also utorrent includes a tetris game in the about page :winker:

thats a myth, yes they included short a miner - this was only for a few weeks.

the problem was bittorrent bought utorrent and bloated it.

Thanks " ArcticStorm " for the Knowledge.
