Hey guys,

I recently purchased DS Diversion but the plugin doesn't seem to be appearing in Live 10 Plugins Folder within the DAW. I'm on Windows 10 with Live 10.0.6...

Has anyone else who has this plugin have this problem?

Maybe this is better off in the Live section of the forum but don't know where the issue is from the beginning. Not sure if the plugin isn't updated for Live 10 or Windows 10, or something I'm messing up...

I've messaged DS Audio but thought I'd post here too...

Any help would be appreciated...

Ableton Live 10 v10.0.6 + Diversion v1.41 = works fine here.

Take a look at Preferences -> File folders setup.

 

Are you on Windows 10?

Hmmm, so I am assuming maybe Diversion isn't compatible with Windows 10 yet? On its documentation it says it works with Windows 7 but nothing about Windows 10...

But I find it unlikely as well that it wouldn't be compatible...

I must be doing something wrong Windows 10 related maybe...

 

My assumption right now is that the preset library is being saved to One Drive (even though I have disabled it & also cuz Windows 10 is an asshole for doing that without making it obvious). Since it is being saved into One Drive rather than Common files or wherever it would normally go I think it is preventing the plugin from being found...

Let me change the default location and see from there...

Haven't you installed the vst3 instead of vst2? (sorry for this stupid question,but maybe worth to check it!)

You're question is no where near as stupid compared to the total failure I've just experienced lmaooo!!!

Turns out Live 10 couldn't find a default location so I had to specifically specify where that default location was!!!

Can't believe I noobed out like that cuz I am no where near new to this shit, I just haven't done this in a few years and got rusty lmaooooo!

Another reminder for me to not overthink things and make assumptions... I feel so stupid now especially since I sent an email to DS Audio....

 

Man so happy that its working now spent alot of money on it and was really looking forward to using it

Diversion is a great synth, maybe a bit heavy if you have a old computer, but hey that's why there's a freeze function, Enjoy!

Hehe thanks, well I finally have a badass setup and I've known this synth for a long time and knew it needed alot of juice so didn't want to use it till I had the power so waited patiently and now I shall wreck audio havoc!

I guess that's what happens when you take a hiatus from making music for three years, I forgot some basic shit in Live, but the bitch is slowly coming back to me :P

 

It happens to all of us man. Experienced or not with computers.
