Did you see my videos ?

I'm thinking now, the only thing I have on both machines that is the same is the graphic card, maybe that's the culprit

Err, that's normal behavoiur? My mouse cursor does not vanish when I move knobs in Waves or Voxengo plugins.
And after entering DMG textboxes, nothing is changing here.

Yep, mouse cursor should vanish while dragging on Waves and Voxengo, and stay in the same place when you leave the mouse button. Like this, mouse cursor goes up or down, depending on how much you drag, and then jump back to the center of the knob once the mouse button is left, it's annoying.

By enabling tablet mode in Voxengo preferences the cursor should stay all the time, by default it should vanish when dragging the knobs...

Strange, it has to do with some global preference or something

This has been keeping me head-banging against the wall for a long time. But it turns out some software uses more CPU with GUI OpenGl acceleration enabled. Of course, this shouldn't happen. It appears to be a clumsy implementation of OpenGl in some GPU drivers because Direct3D is what sells.

Happened to me first time with many waves plugins. Also with Ample Sound, way less important because they know how to code.

This appears to have been solved with Vulkan, OpenGl successor. But unless you do hardcore 3D stuff is not worth for a developer to drop OpenGl and switch to Vulkan yet.

    Edited: Improved and repackaged
