    Why isn't there a dedicated DJ area on AS.PRO? Saint... what do you think?

    I would drop by now and then for sure :)

    I DJ 5 - 6 Nights a week I would love a DJ section. I know you do a lot for us already Saint, and I thank you for it. It would be useful.

    guys, I'm very sorry for disappearing like that, but I was upgrading my PC with all the consequences.
    Now I'm back and I'm ready to cooperate.

    the problem is, i'm not a DJ, so i don't know what a DJ may need.

    if we're serious about DJ section, then let's take what The Munk Machine has offered in the previous comment and modify/suggest/finalize it.

    i understand most of those sections, but what is this for? - Mixset Corner - with Soundcloud Intergration
    - Is it any different from "Our Music" section?

    Where the 'Our Music' is for our own production, the 'Mixset Corner' would be for Full length Mixsets (DJs mixing other folks music) typically 1 hour mixes.

    just read about your DJ area plans and i love it.
    well i'm not a dj like you saint but would be verty cool to listen to
    some mixes from audiosex members over the "Soundcloud Intergration" while using
    and browsing thru the forum !!
    first non dj member who will use it alot : seek77

    Hey Saint, I'm back from vacation and would gladly provide input. Monk has some good ideas. I would like a section dealing with business and show promotions. Also a section for Equipment would be helpful.

    When you say "dealing with business and show promotions", are you talking about "how to approach biz and promo"? or do you mean a place for ruthless promoters to plaster their BS parties on the blog? :)

    I was referring to discussions about the DJ entertainment business, how to make it grow, How to approach night clubs for work, What sort of promotions have you had success with, are video DJ shows thriving in your area, what is the market for Karaoke shows or weddings in your area, Do you do theme parties?, what to look for when hiring a DJ as an employee, where to get affordable health insurance, where to get entertainment contracts and when you need them, ect...
