Here is a DIY Mastering lesson-tutorial, from the Point Blank Music School. I am not sure, if anyone has posted this video here. However, I've found it to be helpful and am hoping it can also help someone else in need.

Here's a list of the Plugins used:
    Brainworx bx_control: http://ow.ly/wjSPi
    lkjb Luftikus: http://ow.ly/wjSWV
    TDR VOS Slick EQ: http://ow.ly/wjTok
    Vladg/sound Molot: http://ow.ly/wjTKq
    Vladg/sound Limiter No6: http://ow.ly/wjUpT
    Sample Magic A/B: http://ow.ly/wjUwv

Sample Magic A/B is not free!

Besides that, it's a great set of free Plugins. I'd add:

Boz Digital Panipulator. >> Similar to BX Solo. Put it on the Master for quickly switch between Monon and different Modes

TAL Dub >> Delay (32 Bit Only). Check his other free plugs

Voxengo SPAN >> Nice free Spectrum Analyzer.

Nova 67 >> a 5 bands parallel equalizer with auto-gain. Also by VladG Sound.

I wouldn't do it without SPAN and TDR Feedback Comp II, too.

Molot is not really meant for mastering and Limiter6 sounds a bit too harsh, but it depends on the material you're mastering, of course. But I'd probably use LoudMax limiter because it's the most transparent freeware [and possibly paid for] limiter there. Voxengo Elephant is also great.
