I recently joined Distrokid, Musician Plan, and am wondering what is difference among the plans. What I don't understand in Musicians Plus is "2 artists or bands".

So, if my band has more than 1 person, should I get Musicians Plus? Another question is about "Daily sales stats". Is that mean the basic Musician plan doesn't provide stats for daily sales?

I also asked my friends to take a look at it, and none of them had any idea as it is out of their field. Plus, many of the distributors don't give the info in detail and it makes us confused.

No, it means you can have 2 different projects with its own name

edit: Also if you want share/split the income with your friend, he also need distrokid account to do that

Thanks for quick reply. Then for example, the band name is ABCD, what sort of project are you talking about?

Not sure, if I understand correctly, but ABCD would be band(project) number 1, and you can have another either band or artist(solo project) in your account

Hi, Legotron. I would like to ask you whether Musicians Plus is worth to try. I read their policy for downgrade and it is not good. 8 days left for upgrade for me now, and I am gonna make a decision sooner or later.

Technically speaking the price you pay is worth it if you constanly dropping music. I tried Cdbaby and Tunecore and for what they asking to pay for each album you already paid that for distrokid just for joining.
Truthfully why even downgrade to the $20 deal and you on the $35 plan. You would be paying that back yearly if you was with tunecore for the yearly fee and still kicking out extra to upload.
