so what would be the solution ?

first we as producers stop overcompressing our mixes and/or mix & masters having as our main goal to produce in the best possible way for spotify/beatpor/itunes/soundcloud quality. No , our goal should be to make our track as rich and fullranged and warm as possible and export into a cool full sounding PCM .wav . After that we can use that .wav in our audio editors to try and make a decent mp3/m4a for those various music selling sites.iTunes sells its music in 256kbps , ok convert the track to that

secondly storage space and internet connection bandwidths need to become cheaper and more available for the people. I am sure most of those music listeners on their iphones or laptops would rather download a WAV, AiFF or FLAC of their music , firstly if it was available in the first place from them music-selling sites and secondly if for still a large number of the population internet bandwidth was cheap enough so they could quickly dowload or stream that track in wav/aiff/flac. Also storage space for some strange reason just like with CPU's seems to me they are trying to milk us out. With SSD's out i am still amazed you see 5-8 tb hard disk drives in the price range of 600-900$ .Also factor in that those mobile devices have very limited storage capacity precisely because of the hdd prices from the large companies. Also both these issues affect a streamer service in our case Youtube which if bandwidths where faster/available to the public and cheaper for youtube owners ofcourse , as well as cheaper storage that means cheaper servers for all those videos anyone of us can upload to their service and that would mean that an option to upload your hd video accompanied with a 2ch stereo 44.1 wav would be also available. Same goes for soundcloud and beatport etc etc

And let say all of this was accomplished , and now anyone could listen to their favorite music clip on youtube with wav quality through their iphone with its 1tb cheap ssd and good 4g bandwidth. Still the music would played through a pair of earbuds .These earbuds could be cable ones or the latest trend wi-fi earbuds now promoted by iphone. What would be the solution there ? I mean even a boombox ,a Sony Hi-Fi, a walkman , each one had its own eq ,settings, speakers, so essentially the only ones that will ever get to listen 100% what the producer had in mind when making the track are full-blown audiophiles with pickups,tape decks,cd players and high end speakers that range in 10's of thousands of sweet $$$.

So essentially i am going around in circles and still cant think what would be the solution , unless we start giving away with each full wav final export of our recording or track, a pair of monitors or headphones that are the ones we used to master our final track. (This info could be included in the tracks metadata though , e.g " This Batoumba-ForumPost.wav track was mixed using a pair of Ath-mx50 headphones
and mastered in Audiosex Studio using a pair of Samson R6a ribbon monitors)
