    Hi guys,

I'm running a 2015 macbook pro, i5, 128gbs ssd, 8gbs ram running Mac OS x El Capitan, logic pro X

My sample libraries are stored on a usb 3.0 western digital Elements 1tb hard drive 5400rpm.

Hard drive is formatted to read only because I don't want to go out and buy another hard drive just to transfer the files back and fourth.

Anyways when I open kontakt and select a library it loads fine however and plays fine when I'm playing one note at a time, however when I go over 3 notes the Disk meter peaks and the audio drops.

I feel like it has something to do with the format of my drive (still set to windows), but it could also just be a crappy slow hard drive.

    Anyone have any clues/suggestions?

    Thanks!
