Hey guys, this is my first post on here. I have made a new song and wish to get some feedback from you. It is a Disco song inspired by Frank Pocherello (Ponch).

    Hope you like it !

Find some jamiroquai vocal stems and slide them in there and you got a hell of a remix with that fonky shit. Nice keyboard work too. Hoodhendrix Likes!

Another person from the 70's Disco era for you here, still listening to it 30+ years on!

OK I liked it, for the music... but didn't love it for the drums (or the overall mix). The main thing was that snare was a bit too clunky and pissed me off after a short while. The kick drum sounded like it was from a real kit (good) but way too high up in the mix (kicks at that level didn't happen until the late 80's with House music). So you might as well have used a 909 kick if going for that kind of mix.

Take it from me, you've either got to make it sound REAL, and I mean really fucking REAL drums NOT repeated loops or one-shot kick /snares.... or else you might as well turn it into a proper Funky House banger. Either way, you need to fix those drums my man. Disco beats are so much more fluid than one-shot samples; you could even just sample a good 8 bars from somewhere and it should work once you've tweaked it to fit your tempo. Good luck man!
