Have found that physically disabling the wired connection stops audio glitches, however when I try to set up a new location in network prefs with ethernet off the connection is still live, not a biggie but means i have to get up move my body in time space and pull it out. To be honest it keeps me off the internets so maybe it's a good thing but would still like to find a solution. btw this is a Hackintosh without wifi.
