Recently tried to reinstall DP 9.5 after fresh install on Wondows 7 & received the same error over & over.
Think it may have to do latest Windows platform & Framwork updates.

My work around was to copy the contents of the temporay install folder, run CCleaner, delete all x86 msi files, and install manually using only the 64 bit msi files.

Started with the main files (deleted full installer):

The other benefit is installing only the plugins you want if any at all.

DP runs much more smoothly now with the only hickup being a fresh plugin scan after installing VSTs
that I normally use. Runs SD3 superbly unlike Samplitude.

If no other serious issue arise, will most likely ditch S1 and maybe, eventually, Pro Tools.
